  (Update)I had previously rated this location a two based off of implied prejudice against my age but after ownership took time to respond to my concerns I decided to visit again and this time got an amazing employee who didn't seem to be as pushy or skeptical about me. Thanks Parker Payless Liquors! It's so rare to find a business that's can evolve so efficiently. Keep doing what you're doing! (Old review)The selection at this store is phenomenal for the most part but the prices make me think it's prohibition era. I've also had issues with a few grumpy staff members here. On one occasion I was buying non-alcoholic ginger beers and an older gentleman who was an employee there gave my girlfriend and I rather tough time at checkout. I understand having a store policy of checking all IDs even for non-alcoholic purchases, but this gentleman felt it necessary to take both of our IDs over to the main counter and held up the entire line while he scanned them, scowling at us the entire time. (Side note, at the time I was 28 and was very much balding and very clearly over 21). On one other occasion another staff member got frustrated that I didn't have my ID out the second I got to the counter (hard to do when carrying two twelve packs). I know it sounds a little dramatic but I view this place as being somewhat prejudiced against younger people. Certainly not my favorite liquor store and I only shop there now when I'm not passing by another store.
